The Timepieces

MOANA PACIFIC PVD

This model uses New Zealand native Kauri (agathis australis) under the see-through glass back. Ancient Kauri (swamp Kauri) found in New Zealand is the oldest workable wood in the world. The trees have been buried and preserved underground in swamps for more than 45,000 years.

Giant Kauri trees were considered by Maori to be the kings of New Zealand forests. The Kauri is one of the largest and oldest growing trees in the world. Living Kauri trees are now protected.

Our logo is inlaid with New Zealand paua shell into the Kauri wood.

The case has a deep black physical vapor deposition (PVD) coating. It toughens the surface and gives a very unique look. The engine of this timepiece is an automatic MIYOTA. This is finished off with one of our Magrette signature straps.
